What are the advantages of being a ShareFest Church Partner?
  • Your congregation will be energized and catch a greater vision for reaching out to the community.
  • Your congregation will experience the joy of visibly uniting with other congregations.
  • Your congregation will build bridges of spiritual influence in your community.
  • Your congregation will be recognized as a participant in ShareFest
  • Your congregation will glorify God. (Matt. 5:16)
What is expected of a ShareFest Church Partner?
  • Your Church will participate in the ShareFest workday project in the community.
  • Your Church will pay a donation of .50 cents per person of your average Sunday attendance to help fund the many ShareFest projects
  • Your Church will promote the donation items to be given on the Sunday prior to the workday (Donation Sunday), by your congregation.
  • Your Church will collect a special offering on the Sunday following the workday to be given to the selected local agencies chosen by ShareFest.
  • Your Church should preach a message on “Unity” on the Sunday previous to the workday, in your church.
  • Your Church will promote the Red Cross blood drive in weeks preceding the workday.
  • Your Church will share in the financial Partnership of ShareFest.
  • Your Church will pray regularly each week.
What our churches agree on (Statement of Faith):

          -- Based upon the authority of the Word of God --
  • We believe in one God, existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
  • We believe in God, the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
  • We believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
  • We believe in the Holy Spirit, the true Christian church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
  • We believe in the death of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross as the only acceptable sacrifice for our sins and that all who put their faith & trust in Him are justified as a result of his death & resurrection.

Please note that there is a cost associated with being a partner of .50 cents per person of your average Sunday attendance. This is to help offset the cost of all the projects for ShareFest. No churches or individuals receive any of this money, 100% goes to supporting the ShareFest projects and this year's designated agencies.
